DAMO
After stumbling across drumming at the Woodford Folk Festival in 1996, Damo was captivated by the energy of the drum circle and has since become one of the most experienced traditional drummers and dancers on the South Coast and wider NSW.
Damion brings a memorable life and energy to his sessions that leave a lasting impact, with his circles developing creative energy, relieving stress and anxiety, and passing on traditions from West Africa & Guinea.
Damion is also a highly experienced, active session player and gigging performer, performing in The Groove and Beatmeisters to name a few, along with his own solo gigs.
Outside of music, Damion works as a Sustainability Officer for Wollondilly Shire Council and spends his downtime reconnecting with earth and promoting sustainable, healthy living.
